Happy New Year Everyone!!! 🙂
Hope you all had fabulous Christmas and brill New Year party too! I didn’t celebrate much as was too poorly to visit my mum in Worcester and also too busy around the house. Our new kitchen cabinets arrived day before New Year so we’ve spent all day yesterday trying to put the bases together, so we came from this:
onto this 🙂 Awesome!!!
But lets do some crafting now!
My today’s card is super quick and easy to make. I’ve seen similar on sizzix blog and I just had to give it a go. Of course I’ve changed mine a little and just love how it looks 🙂
The card base is not typical as it’s measures 8 x 3 1/2″. I really wanted it to be tall, but you can make it in traditional size. For the “champagne glass” I’ve used large oval punch and two middle oval framelits . I’ve cut the bigger one out of whisper white cardstock and smaller one from gold glimmer paper. I’ve trimmed them both at different angle before I’ve added tapered piece of whisper white. Champagne bubbles are cut from glitter oval using punches. The smaller ones for example are smallest circles from the Owl Punch 🙂 Then I took asymetrical rectangle of Crumb Cake paper and run it through the Big Shot with Beautifully Baroque embossing folder. I assembeld the card using dimensionals for the champagne glass and sticky strip for embossed piece.
I really wanted to add some ribbon but because I do not have any gold one I took a piece of Whisper White Organza Ribbon and coloured it with crumb cake ink 🙂 Love it! The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Sentiments and 2015 is stamped using Project Life Day To Day Photopolymer stamp set. It’s made into little banner backed with a piece of burlap ribbon. How cool is this card! Tell me what you think. Do you like it? Leave a comment below or click “like” button – or both 😉
Thank you for stopping by and happy crafting.
