Quick Last Minute Candy Cane Tags

Hello Folks! I know it’s quite late, well at least in Europe 😉 but I’ve got super quick and easy project for you today. I’ve turned plain candy canes into holiday tags/party favours! Or maybe we can call them table tags 🙂

To make each tag you need a piece of cardboard/cardstock which measures 2 x 6 inches and patterned paper slightly smaller if you want to have a border. For tags I’ve used a cardboard that comes as a backing of Impressions magazine (I love recycling!) and DSP comes from Santa & Co – it’s quite funny design so perfect for my project. I’ve glued cardboard and DSP together and used scalloped tag topper punch to create the tag. Then I had to make a “holder” for candy cane so I simply made two cuts through which I could slide the candy. On the top it’s holded in place by piece of whisper white bakers twine and our awesome two-tone trim in white/tangerine tango and natural/old olive – I just love how chunky those trims are!

The sentiment comes from “Good Greetings” stamp set which you could get free if your party orders were £200 or more. Now you can get one in our Year-End Closeouts Sale! It’s really brilliant stamp set.  So I’ve stamped the sentiment in Old Olive and sponged the edges of tag and a banner. I took a piece of glimmer paper and punched little stars with itty bitty accents punch. The star and sentiment are attached to the tag with dimensionals. And thats it! Tags are done 🙂

They make super cute party favours for kids (and big kids too 😉 Or you can use them as place cards, just instead of sentiments put your guests names 🙂 Awesome! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by,

Ania xx
